Duster for its home country, France, is going to be dressed special at the Paris Motor Show 2014.
As reported, Dacia has planned to roll out two limited editions at the event. They are the ‘Sandero Black Touch’ and ‘Duster Air’.
Leaving behind the Sandero for another discussion, Duster Air is said to have taken inspirations from the aviation industry. As only cosmetic changes are made, it is boarded with yellow colored “altimeter” graphics on front, sides and tail gate. And chrome exhaust pipe to complement it further. The yellow wing mirror on outer is subjected to get subtle with four paint options provided: Glacier White, Pearlescent Black, Platine Grey and Comete Grey. Last but not the least, 16-inch ‘Dark Metal’ alloys and satin-finished of chrome effect front-rear skid plates acts as topping to package. Does it look like a Renault Duster? Not really…
Exclusivity is continued inside the cabin with embroidered “altimeter” motifs on every seat back. Black theme adorning the whole cabin; the textile floor mats with yellow graphics replicating that same aura. Visible stitches and unique upholstery are the last words for interiors.
Engine deployed underneath the hoods are of TCe 125 (petrol) available only with two-wheel drive; and a dCi 110 (diesel) for rushing out the both two-and-four wheel drive.
Bookings will open on October2, across all the French dealerships. Price stated to be starting from €16,200.
