Datsun would launch the Datsun Go and Go+ facelift on October 10th. The added features in the Go twins include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, driver seat-belt reminder and follow-me-home headlamps as standard.
These cars would be the first ones in their segment to offer safety features as standard. On the inside, upgrades include 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as well as voice recognition – another first in this segment. But voice recognition will probably be offered in the higher variants only.
No change in existing engine and transmission is expected. As far as price is concerned, the Datsun Go is slated to be priced somewhere between Rs.3 lakhs and 4 lakhs while the Go+ would come in at around the Rs.4 lakhs mark for the base variant.
