Going by the trend, Nissan sub-brand Datsun unveiled the seven-seater MPV based on the hatchback platform, alongside the Honda Mobilio and Maruti Ertiga, at Delhi Auto Expo. Named as ‘Datsun GO Plus’ the seven seater is based on the platform of hatchback GO.
Despite being a sub-brand of Nissan, Datsun is reported of embrowning the smart phone dock and its connectivity in the vehicle, which sounds impeccable when jolting down its cost factor. On an initial stage, we expect the GO Plus to be powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine putting out power of 67hp and one 104 NM of torque. But right now there doesn’t seem any plans for the diesel version to be rolling out anytime soon near the launch, which is anticipated to happen later this year (2014).
