Eicher has introduced the new Eicher 11.14, an extremely fuel efficient 14.5T Gross Vehicle Weight truck. It claims that the all-new truck will be changing and redefining the 9- 9.5 ton payload class’ image with its unrivaled benefits and features. The 14.5T GVW offers improved benefit to 9-9.5 ton payload shoppers with its contemporary style, look and plenty of value features, as per Eicher.
Speaking on the introduction, Mr. Vinod Aggarwal, Chief Executive Officer VE Commercial vehicles Limited stated that this extremely economical Eicher 11.14 with its value delivery at comparatively lower cost is ready to bring about a lucrative change in a way the 9-9.5 Ton payload capacity truck models operate in India. It is an outcome of widespread R&D done by Eicher and is expected to be the “Game Changer” thanks to its distinctive features and positioning. The all-new truck will be bridging the gap between 16 T and 12/13 T classes.
Eicher Trucks claimed that it will be creating and establishing a new class that will appeal to customers of 16T market by offering them a benefit of heavy duty truck besides the savings of medium duty truck. With its class leading fuel efficiency and other operating limitations, the Eicher 11.14 will be the right fit product for segments and applications that are at present being catered by the 16T and 12/13 T Heavy duty truck models, particularly – Milk /Water Tanker, Market Load, Machinery Transport, Parcel Service, Gas Cylinders, Courier and Pharma segments.

Motivation for the truck comes from a four-cylinder E-483 Diesel engine that’s mated to heavy duty transmission and high pulling power, the ET40S5.
