Facelifted Honda HR-V Revealed at the GIIAS The curtains have been lifted off the ASEAN spec Honda HR-V at the ongoing GIIAS 2018 in Indonesia.
The new HR-V receives cosmetic changes both on its inside and outside and will get two engine and transmission options. Exterior changes include nw LED headlights, modified fog lamps, a new grille and a new bumper.
On the inside, changes include dual-tone beige-and-black theme for higher-end models. In base variants, the interior remains more or less unchanged. There are two engines on offer with the HR-V facelift – a 120HP 1.5-litre petrol and a 139HP 1.8-litre petrol. While the 1.5-liter engine comes mated with a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission, the 1.8-liter one gets a CVT gearbox.
The new HR-V will be brought to India in 2019 with certain modifications and will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta and the upcoming Tata Harrier.
