Ferrari, an Italian based automobile manufacturer has brought the scheme to the hybrid powerplant of Enzo successor to Beijing Auto Show and this is introduction of V12 petrol burner with two electric generators. Mr. Amedeso Felisa, Executive President at Ferrari stated that the Enzo’s successor has been nicknamed F70, which will be equipped with state of the art technology, becoming the Ferrari‘s first ever hybrid production car. He also said that Ferrari F70 will be using a hybrid powerplant that will be constructed out of two electric generators and a V12 naturally aspirated petrol burner, teamed up with dual clutch gearbox.
One of the electric generators will be positioned between the transmission and engine, being teamed up with one of electric generator situated at the front and one of clutches. The Italian automaker claims that it is the first electric generator will be used a motor that’s capturing kinetic energy and sends it to lithium ion battery; on the other hand, the 2nd will be accountable to charge auxiliary systems. The hybrid powerplant is HY-KERS’ evolution unveiled in 2010 at Geneva Auto Show on 599 GTB and will be found on mid engines supercar in the coming years. The all-new Ferrari F70 is likely to weigh around 1134 or 2500 pounds and will be churning out earth-shattering 920 horsepower.
