If Linea wasn’t of your taste despite being an Italian in its genes, Fiat has a new option to cater the buyers more lusciously. Presenting the four-door sedan Aegea at Istanbul Motor Show 2015, it has come out with a clear rival against the Skoda Rapid, Hyundai Verna and their likes.
Starting from the front, it holds newly brushed grille with mesh design language. And those large headlamps along with the creases on bonnet that lasts up to the roof make up for an aggressive attire. The newly styled tail lamps with a chrome strip connecting them are worth looking at.
Moving inside the cabin, most of the cues looked like carried over from Fiat 500X and 500L. The steering wheel, switches, air-con vents and infotainment system are there to name few of them.
Reportedly, two petrol and diesel (MultiJet II turbodiesel) engines are planted into the bay with power ranging from 95 PS to 120 PS.
The maker of Aegea has said, this sedan measures 4.5 meters on length, 1.78 meters at width and 1.48 meters at height. A 2.64 meter wheelbase is enough to house five passengers at ease, where the luggage holding capacity of more than 510 liters will suit aptly for the weekend trips.
However, the manual and auto transmission both will find their way into the drivetrain, but the most economical variant is said to deliver the fuel-economy of 25kmpl.
Hence, Fiat has planned to manufacture it at Tofas manufacturing facility situated in Bursa, Turkey. And will then export to countries like 40 countries of EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
