Fiat Doblo, the home on wheels, spotted testing in India at Pune.
The Fiat Doblo was unveiled at Paris Motor Show in 2000, and was famous for its versatility.
The Doblo is a panel van, a leisure activity vehicle, or safe enough to utter as an MPV in the context of Indian automotive language.
Fiat Doblo is based on the modified Punto platform, powered by the 1.3L Multijet diesel engine along with 1.4L FIRE petrol engine, both of which are available in India.
Doblo, the huge family MPV is bolstered with huge sliding door, and a 3200L of space, can load anything, whatever you wish take on a road trip. 1 ton trailer weight just adds more punch to it. The car has huge useful compartments throughout, including jet plane-styled overhead storage, a parcel shelf, numerous cup and bottle holders and a lockable glove compartment large enough to usurp a laptop.
They say Fiat had also made storing space on the floors. ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution are some of the many safety features available; and is astounded as heaven for seven, a 7-seater.
Price looks prominent to a shade above Linea for India, but in Brazil it costs approximately Rs 15 lakh.
However, there are no words from the Fiat about its launch, but it would be cool to have a competitor from Italy against the very much cramped Indian Ertiga. What say…
