Fiat is getting all set to launch its Egea sedan next month and the car has just been spotted without camouflage for the first time giving more insight into the looks of the car.
The Egea looks quite good and is set to replace the Bravo. Already under production, the Egea looks like an evolutionary advancement over the Bravo and is already set for production in Turkey.
In terms of design the Egea features the Fiat front grille, axe shaped headlamps and muscular bonnet. The car also looks like it has 17 inch wheels on the side with a small boot opening and a high bumper.
The car is to be offered in two petrol as well as diesel engine options which would deliver an output in the range of 95 to 120bhp with two transmission options also likely, that is the six-speed Auto Transmission as well as the six speed manual.
In terms of interiors, the car has a large steering wheel, a new instrument cluster, a climate control system as well as a 5 inch infotainment system.
The Fiat Egea is likely to be displayed by the company at the Auto Expo in 2016 with an end of 2016 launch scheduled for the country. This would make India one of the first among the RHD markets to get the car and the release strategy is likely to be similar to that of the Linea Classic.
