Fiat Punto Facelift Spotted Testing in India: Launch Soon

Fiat Punto has retained its Italian sentiment on its back for some good longs years in India. To this artifact, and also to foray the India with a fresh image this year, the Italian carmaker seemed to have planned a facelift of its hatchback rolling down our shores soon. And for that same reason, couple of Punto facelift test mules were spotted near to the carmaker’s testing center in Pune, India.

Going by the spy-shots, it can be noted, the front fascia will be facing the major chunk of changes, whereas the rear to be dwelling the tweaks on tail lamps cluster only.

On front the Punto facelift is about to receive the new front bumper with redesigned foglights and grille, whereas the mirror arrangement of the headlights too also be tweaked for a sportier look.

On the rear, aesthetics may look similar to the current Punto, the taillight clusters to be revised and the reflectors to be repositioned.

Interior shall also see changes resorted with a new center console and instrument cluster, similar to the ones on 2014 Linea facelift.

We expect the new Punto revealed to the world with DNA – three driving modes Dynamic, Normal and Automatic, will make available in India. Further raising the excitement, Fiat has plans of rolling out the four models in India till the end of 2014, and they are Linea facelift, Avventura, Abarth 500 and Punto facelift.

Layman apart, we are still expecting the Jeep from the Italy based carmaker to be rolling out soon in our nation. Does anyone there had any confirmed clues regarding the perfect date of launch?
