Now, the spy-shots of ‘Punto T-Jet’ claimed, seriousness has followed the Fiat officials at the business table, and they are in the league to catch up with the strings of market very soon, especially in a very dedicated manner for the performance buyers.
The spy-shots claims a new Punto will use the same turbocharged 1.4-litre T-Jet engine of Linea in the tune of 135bhp. Expectedly, with this notorious machine under the hood it will get tagged as Abarth, relating to the performance division of Fiat. Thus, the increment of power is happened to get paid by the new turbochargers. However, some even says, the Avventura will also receive a similar treatment, where both the cars will use their manual transmission to extract adrenaline in a possible raw manner from the engine.
Hence, Fiat presently retails the Punto at Rs 7,51,957 ex-showroom Delhi, where the T-Jet Punto Abarth will cost more than the standard variant.
