In what is great news for car lovers in India, the Italian luxury car maker, Maserati has opened its first Indian dealership in New Delhi in conjunction with AMP Supercars. The showroom will provide sales, spare parts as well as after sales service and is located near Mathura Road in the capital.
All four models from the Maserati stable i.e. the Quattroporte, the Ghibli sedan, GranCabrio and the GranTurismo sports coupe will be on display at the dealership and customisation options will also be available to buyers at the store.
According to Bojan Jankulovski, who is the head of Indian operations, Maserati is absolutely thrilled to be back in India and is looking to create world class standards in partnership with AMP Supercars. The demand for exclusive luxury vehicles has grown in the markets and Maserati aims to meet that with its line up.
The company had wound up its Indian operations about three years ago when its Indian distributor, the Shreyans group got into trouble. Now though, the company is on the expansion path and is looking to add two new dealerships in Bangalore and Mumbai to its list and have a greater reach among the urban areas. The Maserati launch comes on the heels of the Ferrari which also recently reopened its doors in India with five models.

- Maserati Ghibli diesel: Rs.1.1 crore

- Maserati GranTurismo: Rs.1.80 crore
