A more rugged variant of the existing Ford EcoSport, the Ford EcoSport Storm, has been revealed by Ford. This car is powered by a 2.0-litre engine which would use either petrol or ethanol as its fuel.
The petrol engine produces a peak power of 170HP and a peak torque of 202Nm while these figures for the ethanol version stands at 176HP and 221Nm. The EcoSport Storm is heavier compared to its existing EcoSport cousin because of the addition of the four-wheel drive system.
Visual changes in the EcoSport Strom include a new grille with the Storm badge, black cladding, black roof rails and a sunroof. On the inside, the central console gets dual-tone orange-grey finish while the seats and the steering wheel have leather cover.
Features include automatic headlights, a multifunction steering wheel with reach and rake adjustment and an 8.0-inch Sync3 touchscreen infotainment system.
