Ford ranked 7th in the list of carmakers for India, with regards to the sales of FY 2013-14. Though, it wishes to climb the ladder further, and for the said reason, the Ford Fiesta facelift, which was unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo, is now spied doing test in Chennai with great zest.
However, the car is altogether of Aston Martin repertoire from the front grille, while the rest remains same to its existing generation of Fiesta, except the hoods and foglamps.
India is brewing up generous demand for the vehicles of this segment. So, one from the Ford will definitely hit the bulls’ eye if planted properly with regards to the price tags, which earlier the previous Fiesta failed to make an impression for the same reason.
The spotted car is painted white and is draped in blue colored camouflages.
On interiors, the cabin is planned to get a revamp too. The push button start, underseat storage and 60/40 folding rear seats are there to name for the comments. The famous Ford SYNC technology that allows users to link with their car via voice is also reported to be engulfed on it in the production specific version along with the automatic headlamps.
On engine bay, the diesel engine 1.5 TDCI is the one powerplant announced to be dwelled inside it, no other metals chunks aren’t confirmed yet, nor even the EcoBoost.
No words on the launch, but it seem the car is in the final stage of testing to be followed by the roll-out soon.
