The Delhi Auto Expo is going to witness the showcasing of the latest global vehicle manufactured by Ford. We are of course talking about the Ford EcoSport that is going to be sold all across the globe, including India.
Ford is setting up an interactive and high in technology stand at the Auto Expo encompassing 1400 sq. meters. The Ford EcoSport is expected to hold center stage in this high profile stand. The EcoSport comes as the latest product manufactured for the global market by Ford, with the vehicle been designed with the expectation of enhancing the presence of Ford in India as well as other growing automobile markets across the world. It is going to be second among a planned list of eight vehicles that Ford is going to launch in India within 2015.
The stand that Ford is setting up at the Delhi Auto Expo is going to feature 12 of its vehicles. The EcoSport apart, the other vehicles that are going to be showcased include the Figo, the Classic, the Endeavour and the new Fiesta.
The all-new variant of the four-door Ford Fiesta saloon is soon going to be made available with its latest PowerShift auto transmission. This is another exhibition of the strategy Ford has in bringing its latest technology into the country. Ford has said that this PowerShift transmission has been provided with the requisite technology for improving fuel economy of the vehicle by around nine percent compared to its traditional automatics having four-speed transmission.
The other key highlights that the company is going to offer at the Delhi Auto Expo include display of its comprehensive safety aspects. This is going to be done through various tools, including a three dimensional theatre, an interactive and crowd-source driving game along with live shows.
