Ford Mustang is one of the most popular sports car in the world. Recently, we saw Ford unveiled its Ford Mustang Electric car name Mach- E. The Ford Mustang facelift was revealed in 2017 with a few cosmetic tweaks and new features.
It is on sale globally since 2017 and India launch wasn’t expected to happen as Ford planned to skip the facelift and launch the next-gen Mustang in India.
However, Ford now seems to be keen on introducing the updated car in India in April 2020 after 3 years of global launch.
The India-spec Mustang facelift will continue to be sold with the same 5.0-liter, V8 engine seen in the pre-facelift model. However, the motor has now been upgraded to 450hp (up from the previous 415hp). The big news is that Ford plans to pair the engine with a 10-speed automatic gearbox instead of the 6-speed torque convertor unit that was on offer before.
The styling has been revised, the front getting sharper headlights and sporty bonnet. The interiors also get a new 12-inch touchscreen infotainment along with mild cosmetic tweaks. Equipment has been updated to include LED lights as standard, and adaptive cruise control is available too.
The New Mustang also gets three colour options blue, orange and red and gets a new 19-inch alloy wheel design, which is available in three finishes.
