Ford has launched a revised version of the Figo hatchback tagged at Rs. 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom price Delhi) for the base model.
The revised Ford Figo is blessed with updates like refreshed headlamps and taillights, steering mounted with audio control, front grille with silver inserts, all new set of alloy wheels, new fog lamp and new seat fabrics. The hatchback is still being powered with the same 1.2 duratec and 1.4 Duratorq motors. However, Ford claimed to have tweaked engine for better pickup.
The Figo is also set to get two new sets of paints – bright yellow and Kinetic blue. The hatch continues to provide a 2-year or 100,000 km warranty.
The base petrol model LXi has been priced at Rs. 3.85 lakh, while the diesel model starts from Rs. 4.82 lakh. The new model now cost around Rs. 3,000-5000 more than the previous version.
Ford has also strengthened its dealer network in the country and it now stands at 230 dealerships and 123 service outlets. By 2015-2016 company aims to revamp its network to about 500 outlets all over India.
