Once you look at the needs for car size all over the world, around sixty percent are for B and C, smaller size, 15% is for bigger vehicles and 25% is medium size. The United States prefers larger cars like pickup trucks due to the American lifestyle. The C and B categories are going to be majority of vehicles.
Nearly 20% will be customized as per the requirements of the consumer and the cars, which will be designed and engineered the same way around the world, providing the Ford a scale with their suppliers so that they can provide these models with impressive, high tech features with shoppers want at more affordable price. Speaking about crisis in Europe and slowdown in world economy, he said that they see approximately 5% compounded annual growth in automotive sales all over the world going forward. At Ford, they are positioned with their investments for accelerating their growth in emerging markets. United States is the marvelous market relatively flat growth now, but still huge at 150K cars.
