Hero Motocorp is one of the most renowned and successful brands in the country. Hero’s every bike is very successful and iconic. Hero Splendor is one of the popular bikes in India, where every month more than 2 lakhs units are sold of Hero Splendor, the major reason is that it is economical. As Industry is switching from BS4 to BS6, Hero Motocorp has launched BS6 Super Splendor starting at Rs 67,300.
Hero has launched the BS6 version of the Super Splendor in two variants – a drum brake variant at Rs 67,300 and a disc brake variant at Rs 70,800. Until now, the bike was available only in a drum brake variant that was priced at Rs 60,700 (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new Super Splendor BS6 is about Rs. 5500 more expensive than the BS4 model and joins the company’s recently updated range of products in the new BS6 era.
The manufacturer introduced the BS6 versions of the Passion Pro and the Glamour earlier this month at Hero World 2020, while the Pleasure+ 110, Destini 125, Maestro Edge 125, Splendor+ among others were upgraded much earlier. Hero Motocorp has stopped production of BS4 models and is now manufacturing only BS6 two-wheelers.
The 2020 Hero Super Splendor 125 BS6 also comes with updated hardware that includes an all-new diamond frame replacing the double-cradle unit. The new chassis has brought larger proportions to the motorcycle including a 180 mm ground clearance, up by 30 mm and higher by 20 per cent over the old version. The single seat is longer now by 45 mm for a more comfortable ride.
There’s a new metallic Nexus Blue paint scheme on offer, along with the other three colours – Glaze Black, Heavy Grey, and Candy Blazing Red.
