At the end of a day, all automakers in India have to go CNG, and as Honda is no excteption to this clause, is now rumoured of launching the CNG-driven Amaze soon.
It seems the success of Amaze – for being first Honda car in India with diesel engine – had turned the Japanese automaker to also look into the remaining gap of most-efficient drivable options. It will be viable with the petrol engine of 1.2-liter i-VTEC.
Hence, company will not brush up the whole line-up with this new fuel-option. Instead, E and EX variants, apparently also a one from top-end, will make to this new list.
An increment of Rs 30,000-50,000 can be expected for the CNG variant over the respective petrol version.
Till any concrete confirmation arrives, we consider this rumour had a strong potential of seeing the reality.
