Honda Brio never really reached the stage of popularity which Honda desired with the car. After being on sale for almost 8 years, Honda has decided to call it a day as far as the Brio is concerned. The car has now been discontinued in India.
Since production of the Brio has stopped, the Amaze will now be the entry-level car from Honda. The car will still be shown in Honda’s official site, but the company has confirmed that once the remaining stocks get sold, it will be taken off the website as well.
Even after an update in 2016, the Brio sales figures showed no signs of improvement, raking in only 2277 units in all of 2018. So halting the production of the car was the only option left for Honda.
