It has been speculated that Honda might launch a CNG version of its City sedan in the country. With the launch of the CNG version in the Thailand the Speculation about the Indian CNG version is also getting some tough momentum. The Honda City CNG is powered by the i-VTEC 1.5 liter mill that inherits power from both CNG and petrol. It also features gas injection system along with specially designed electronic suspension system. Moreover, control bar and electronic safety control box has been added to provide customers with enhanced safety features.
The Honda City CNG will be available in six exciting colors. Speaking for the Honda’s commitment towards creating environmental friendly vehicles, Pitak Pruittisarikorn, Executive VP; said that the CNG City is another step towards the goal. Honda has already announced that it will decrease CO2 emission by 30% in all its product by 2020.
He also showed his concern towards the rising burden of running a car in terms of cost as the petrol prices has seen a giant leap in last couple of years. He also added that the alternative fuel vehicles are the only option left with the people. The latest version of Honda City CNG maintains its unique design features along with the superior performance and safety standard.
