Honda going the three wheel way? Seems so. The company has patented a three-wheeled trike concept called Honda Neowing. The documents show that the company applied for the patent back in August 2016, barely a few months after the Neowing was first showcased in Europe.
The patent document also reveals its powertrain layout. It reveals that the trike may be powered by either a two-cylinder or a six-cylinder engine and the layout may be a V-twin or a transverse one. No other details of importance could be found in the document.
As of now, only Yamaha has a production ready trike in operation. The motorcycle is called Niken and it was launched back in 2017.
