Honda surprised Montreal Motor show with its concept car, Honda Gear. It has been designed to make city cars more appealing for younger buyers.
The gear concept is all set to make the compact cars more practical and fun with tons of new features. The car is customizable, affordable and connected. Honda terms it as simple and utilitarian and reveals that car is inspired by fixed gear bicycles.
The gear show styling cues from vehicles like Volkswagen Polo and the Citroen DS3 along with the cab forward and short overhangs. The vehicle doesn’t feature any interior.
The Gear is a pure concept and is unlikely that it make it to the production line. Instead of showing glimpse of a production car it shows the strategy and commitment of the company to make its small cars more youthful than before.
