Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., Honda’s automobile production and sales joint venture company in China, unveiled an all new concept model at the Beijing Auto Show 2014. Named as Spirior, it is from the sports sedan category, and was touted to be of the next-gen model.
Introduced back in 2009, hope so, this new avatar of the sports sedan may be launched this year in the Dragon Country. Under hoods, it carries a 2.4 litre DI mill and the automaker’s new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is astounded to be followed on the production specific as well. LED headlights, black accents and attractive alloy wheels may also remain part of the package on the production line.
“The all-new Spirior achieved significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies as well as safety features. With this individualistic and fun-to-drive model, Honda will strive to set a new benchmark in the sporty sedan category,” said official press release of Honda for describing the Spirior.
