Hyundai Motors India is one of the popular automotive brands in India. It stands second, when it comes to market share in the country after Maruti Suzuki. Almost every car of Hyundai is popular in the respective segment. Last year, Hyundai introduced two new products Hyundai Grand i20 Nios and Hyundai Venue and both did well in its respective segments.
Hyundai Motors India now has announced the commencement of bookings of the First Car of the New year 2020 – Hyundai AURA.
It was in December that Hyundai revealed the Aura subcompact sedan and now the company has announced that it has started bookings of the car from today. Customers can book the Aura online or at their nearest dealership for a token amount of Rs 10,000. The Aura subcompact sedan replaces the successful Xcent.
It gets LED tail lamps which get very stylish 3-dimensional outer lens. There’s a trunk lid garnish of the chrome strip and the glossy black wrap similar to what we’ve seen on some of the models sold internationally by Hyundai.
The Hyundai Aura sedan will come with three engine options and 12 variants. It will come with a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that’s good for 83hp and 113Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Then there will be a CNG version too. Additionally, the Aura will also get a 100hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that will be available with a sole 5-speed manual. As far as diesel goes, Hyundai will introduce a 1.2-litre powerplant that will deliver 75hp and 190Nm of torque, and will be paired to a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
Hyundai Aura will be Globally launched on January 21st, 2020.
