The automobile world witnessed the news of the much anticipated Hyundai Elantra Fluidic about a week back. The news of its July launch alone was enough to bring in sensation amongst car enthusiasts. The For Hyundai, the Elantra Fluidic sedan has been one of the most important projects off late.

As per the latest available information, the Hyundai Elantra Fluidic sedan has been spotted undergoing test runs in India. The car was first blotched at the New Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year, following which news of developments in the projects has been flooding in the online world. Some trendy features have been included in the upcoming sedan to give it an edge over others. These include electronic front seats, dual zone climate control, start/stop feature, leather upholstery, cruise control, parking sensors and many other modern features.
The much expected Hyundai Elantra Fluidic will be made available in two avatars. One powered by a 1.8L petrol engine and another by a 1.8L Common-rail diesel engine.The petrol engine is capable of churning out a peak power of 148bhp at a peak torque of 177Nm. Since Hyundai doesn’t have 1.8L CRDi U2 engine, so probability of inclusion of Verna’s 1.6L engine in the upcoming sedan is pretty high.
The fluidic sculpture, advanced feature and efficient engine can actually turn out to be the nextgensedan, thus threatening the survival of other D segment cars in the market including Toyota Corolla, VW Jetta, Skoda Laura and Chevrolet Cruze. The automaker is being reported to have put a price tag lying somewhere between Rs.15 and Rs.18 lakh for the Fluidic Elantra.
