Hyundai unveiled the new truck concept at Detroit 2015 dubbed as HCD-15. It can also be pronounced as the Santa Cruz truck.
Looking to its aerodynamics, the pickup is compact in aesthetics, but features space of a mid-size truck. With fluidic structure as its major strength, the hexagonal front grille, and nicely coveted C-pillar cuts down the bulky flab. To make that clause more affirm, the crew cab trim is offered here, which the design makes it to pose as single cab version.
Though, the tail gate appears a bit awkward, but still the overall appearance makes it to perfectly fit into the size.
The engine specifications aren’t confirmed, but the speculations goes with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbodiesel engine developing 190bhp and 406Nm of torque, which will send the traction to a HTRAC all-wheel drive system. The aforesaid technicalities monetize it to return a fuel efficiency of 12.82kmpl in UK.
Hence, there aren’t reports of it to be going into production.
