The day after the revelation of Hyundai i10 Grand, it is now the rendering of the sedan of same that is doing rounds of the internet very steeply.
Almost looking like that of the i10 Grand on all the cosmetics, it is a total rework version of the younger sibling, instead of being just slapped with a boot at its back. Honda and Maruti Dzire needs to worry of their sales if this sorted metal may become a production specific, because the more space at rear an airiness feel to the car is clearly sweeping out the competitions in the hatchback form itself.
Already we know about the HB20 sedan which Hyundai sells in Brazil. But it couldn’t make it here to take on the benefits of sub-four meter concept of Indian government due to its extended 4 meter length.
Hyundai will use the same BA platform of i10 Grand to underpin this sedan, engine specifications tends to go with the 1.2 litre Kappa2 for petrol and i20 driven 1.4 litre CRDi diesel engines. Hopefully, right now all the terms are being driven out for the launch of i10 Grand launch slated for 3rd September 2013, which we may soon then expect our spies to follow the sedan version of Grand if the organization doesn’t intends to delay a bit for entering the heated competition of compact sedans.
And lastly, all the new sort of feature that this segment hasn’t seen till date may be countered on the Grand sedan which looks appropriate due to the aspiration of carmaker.
