Hyundai i10 Grand was in the media hype for initiating a new segment in between the compact cars and hatchback, while now finally the Hyundai made an attempt and did a fabulous job by launching the same for Rs. 4.29 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The said price was for the starting range of petrol trim, while the diesel on starts at 5.23 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The Grand is offered to Indians in four different trims and eight different shades, the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a brand new 1.1 litre diesel engine are engulfed in its bay to the technical job. Petrol motor produces 82bhp, 114Nm, and an astonishing mileage of 18.9kmpl from its bay, while the diesel one chisels 70bhp and 180Nm of torque, returning the fuel-efficiency of 24kmpl at its best.
However Hyundai i10 Grand is a host of some advanced new features in its class, the two-tone interior, keyless entry and push-button start are some of the tweaks that can be witnessed inside the cabin. Meanwhile, the headrests are embedded on the front passenger seat to save a bit on costing, while the rest remains more upmarket than its rivals.
