After releasing sketches of the exterior of the car, Hyundai has now released official renderings of the interior of the upcoming Elantra sedan. One look at the picture and it’s clear that the new Elantra borrows design cues from the new Hyundai Tucson SUV as far as design of the interior of the car is concerned.
The new Hyundai Elantra gets a completely revamped interior as compared to the older Elantra variant. The dashboard and the central console have been removed and the new design has a more rectangular approach about it. The central console has been replaced by a large infotainment system, which is surrounded by air-condition vents on both sides. Controls of the air-conditioning are located right below the infotainment system. Other important features of the new Elantra interior include cup holders and hazard light button. The cup holders are located right beside the handbrakes – a feature carried forward from the old Elantra.
The new Hyundai Elantra will be showcased at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show in November later this year.
