Hyundai Tucson ‘The Walking Dead’ special edition is not for those who are dead, but it is inspired from an American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont.
Finally made to the showrooms, The Walking Dead edition has an Ash Black exterior with body side graphics and special badging. Those four decals – Hilltop, Kingdom, Saviors and Survivors- are applied to the crossover to make the customers recollect certain factions from The Walking Dead.
Inside the cabin, the theme gets more vicious, as the interiors comes nicely nabbed with black leather seats, special floor mats and a seven-inch touchscreen display with a special The Walking Dead splash screen. Special badging and a “Zombie Survival Kit” inclusive of everything from zip ties to mint toothpaste – also included in the package.
Under hoods there lies a 2.4-liter Theta II GDI engine that develops 182 bhp (135 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm) of torque, connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. An optional all-wheel drive system can also be paired with it.
The model is currently arriving at dealerships but there’s no word on pricing.
