With the murmurs of Infiniti entering India soon, we have good news of the brand it just entered the Asian counterpart Vietnam in the past week.
Vietnam gets the Infiniti in the form of QX80 full-size premium SUV and iconic QX70 crossover. They can be shopped at first Infiniti Center showroom in Ho Chi Minh City.
Infiniti looks on the verge to take on the whole world of luxury automotive arena and shall hark back the makers like Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW in the near future. The company reported sales of more than 100,000 new vehicles around the world, up 30 percent compared with a year ago. It has broken monthly sales records globally in April, May and June this year and grew in 31 markets around the world, including key markets such as the U.S., China, Canada and the Middle East.
In the context of expanding the markets, Infiniti had said to grow the brands’ lineup by 60 percent over the next five years, and the number of engines and transmissions will more than double. Plans are laid to start the production of vehicles in China later this year, in the UK in 2015 and Mexico in 2017. Infiniti will extend its current manufacturing footprint from Japan and the U.S. to five countries on three continents in the next few years.
