For India, Isuzu D-Max pickup is not too long in the tooth, where a source in Thailand has spotted the vehicles with camouflages all over the body replicating for a facelift. Thailand is seeing this pickup since 2002 and is also a hub for the manufacturing.
Though, no one can sneak into the actual tricks used underneath camouflages, but the images hints it will turn out as front grill and bumper to carry amendments, whereas headlamps may get a chance to see a minor sweptback.
In that country, the pickup is sold with different engine options and specifications to suit the specific needs. Going by that said, it holds turbocharged 2.5-litre and 3.0-litre diesel engine, where the latter also gets an intercooler and a 4-speed auto transmission against the standard’s 5-speed manual.
On another side, India owns D-Max pickup with 2.5-litre diesel engine of 134bhp and 294NM of torque mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox imported to the country as CBU. But automaker is now in the process of building a manufacturing facility at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh, which will turn operational soon.
