While most of the people are playing the guessing game for the new SUV EcoSPort from Ford, the company has finally revealed that they are planning to roll it out in February 2013 from their Chennai plant. The company has also started to recruit about 1200 employees this year to comprehend with its expansion plan. For now, Brazil is the only market that has received Ford EcoSport and now its India’s turn.
Mr. Michael Boneham, MD Ford India, Joe Hinrichs, president Ford Asia Pacific and Mr. Joginder Singh, Executive director Ford Business had recently talked with the Tamil Nadu’s chief minister Ms. Jaylalitha and offered her invitation to take part in the launch of Ford EcoSport in Feb 2013. They also shared their recruitment plans for about 1200 employees.
