Renault had announced that it had entered the Guinness Book of World Records. But don’t be shocked it is not for claiming the record breaking sales of world’s cheapest SUV Duster; instead the carmaker had issued such affirmation for outstanding accomplishments of Truck section.
Renault Trucks had created the world’s largest three dimension (3D) street art.
Approximately fifteen days back, Renault and the French artist Francois Abelanet displayed four huge three-dimensional street images on the Place Bellcourt in Lyon. Out of which one was so astonishing that it covered an area of 4,071 square meters (43,819 sq ft), hence making the Renault Trucks to enter the Guinness Book of Records for the “the largest anamorphosis in the world”.
Commenting on this achievement, Bruno Blin, president of Renault Trucks said, “We are very proud to have presented this work of art to the many visitors who came to see it during the weekend. Renault Trucks is a company that was born in Lyon, is still active here and the people of Lyon should be proud of the manufacturing carried out in their city. We wanted the general public to have the opportunity of discovering this new range of vehicles and to learn about it in an original and unusual way.”
