Jaguar F-TYPE ‘Convertible’ stunned everyone when debuted to the world at Paris auto show in September 2012, and entered the production sometime earlier this year. Without failing a lot, F-TYPE Convertible is then been rolled out in many markets to capture the essence of aspiring sports oriented drivers. But quenching thirst not more for an aspirant, the Jaguar F-TYPE Coupé – the most dynamically capable, performance-focused, production Jaguar ever – is said to make its global debut on 19 November at 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
However, there would be not much of the changes expected to be seen on the upcoming vehicle sa far as the cosmetics are concerned, than its convertible sibling, but the figures of 0-100kmph maybe reduced tremendously depending upon the variant selected.
Hence, the all-aluminium F-TYPE Coupe range will deliver in production from the uncompromised design vision of the acclaimed C-X16 concept, and will complement the existing 2013 ‘World Car Design of the Year’ award-winning F-TYPE Convertible range.
The F-TYPE Convertible consists of three models, the V6-powered F-TYPE (340PS) and F-TYPE S (380PS), and the 495PS F-TYPE V8 S. We guess the same may also be available for the Coupe version, except the amendment will be made in the 0-100kmph sprint timing, as said above.
“The excitement generated when we revealed the C-X16 concept was terrific; so to now be on the cusp of what I can assure you will be a drama-filled reveal event in Los Angeles for F-TYPE Coupé is a very significant moment”, said Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar.
Saved for the last, F-TYPE Coupe will go on sale from spring 2014.
