Here, the results from the segment of luxury carmakers – namely Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi – most of the searches were for Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Both the companies gatecrash the first position. Third on the list goes to a new comer this time, Jaguar Land Rover, where the Audi is dropped off to fourth position.
BMW garnered enquiries from cities like Chandigarh, Surat, Pune, Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar and Ludhiana in the lead.
Mercedes draws attractions from Ernakulum, Thiruvananthapuram, Vadodara, Ludhiana and Surat contributed the most.
Very keen to know, Jaguar had its online visitors from the places like Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Chinchwad, Noida and New Delhi.
The fourth position holder which during the last results was on third, Audi got the major searches from Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Chandigarh along with emerging cities.
It can be noted emerging cities are keenly taking up the routes of becoming the major ones soon for luxury markets.
As per the sources, luxury carmakers delivered more than 32,000 cars in the calendar year 2013. Expectations of 50,000 units are strongly anticipated for 2014.
