Jaguar is about to launch BMW 3 Series rival a compact sedan soon somewhere by 2015. To an addition, a report on internet confirmed that, the British carmaker is about to launch SUV, estate, coupe and hatchback too.
JLR’s new strategy chief Adrian Hallmark shredded some light to Autocar regarding Jaguar’s upcoming lineup expansion plans, that’s from where we received the aforementioned information.
The compact sedan is the first to be revealed to audience from the lineup, while the next would be the estate variant for 2016, followed by a two-door coupe in 2018 and possibly a BMW GT-like hatchback before the end of the decade.
Additionally, an SUV is also there in the works, which is said to be quite shorter than the C-X17 concept. Hence, it would be rivaling BMW X3 and X4 when it will be rolled out.
All of the above said cars will be using company’s new platform.
