Jaguar finally had its day, and revealed the XE front fascia which the whole world is waiting to see in complete flesh.
Jaguar XE is the immediate rival to BMW 3-Series, Mercedes C-Class, Audi A4 and their likes.
In the official image of XE one can seen the “S” nomenclature on the front grille, means the 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine from the F-Type for goodness of 375bhp and 47kgm of torque making its way under hoods.
On the other side – for the not so very expensive crowd, there had to be the 2.0-litre, four cylinder engine option from Jaguar Land Rover’s new Ingenium range of engines.
Hopefully, the car may also adopt advanced electrically-assisted steering, and ‘All Surface progress Control system’, which the automaker says is a “world-first technology”.
Paris Motor Show in the coming months (specifically on September 8) shall play host to its unveiling. Till then one had to believe the words of the Fiona Pargeter, PR Director for Jaguar Land Rover, who says, “XE is a very special car and we wanted to ensure it had a very special launch. We are very excited to be working with amazing global talent to create interesting and engaging experiences that we can share around the world.”
For the aforementioned note, personalities like Emeli Sandé, Stella McCartney and Idris Elba will be seen promoting Jaguar’s baby sedan. “Emeli is an incredible artist and one who embodies the creativity and elegance that is at the heart of the Jaguar brand and the new XE,” concluded Pargeter.
Jaguar XE expected to go on sale soon after the Paris Motor Show 2014.
