The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has now come out with a new petrol variant in India priced at Rs.56 lakhs. With this new addition Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has further expanded its Jeep line-up in the country, which also comes as a huge delight for enthusiasts who were waiting for a petrol-powered Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited petrol is currently the most affordable model from the manufacturer. Like other Jeep models sold in India, the Wrangler Unlimited petrol will also retailed as a completely built unit. The off-roader draws power from a 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine tuned to produce 280bhp of power at 6350rpm and 247Nm of torque at 4300rpm. The motor comes paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission with all wheel drive available as standard.
The Pentastar V6 petrol motor powers more than 5 million Jeep SUVs globally and finally makes its way to India as well. The model will be available alongside the Wrangler Unlimited diesel that is powered by the 2.8 litre TurboDiesel unit and is tuned to churn out 198 bhp of power.
