Hyundai and Kia both are gearing up well for the upcoming Paris Motor Show which is to start from 27th September, 2012. This time, both automobile heavy weights have planned to emphasize on three-door hatchbacks and will therefore roll out 2014 Kia Pro_cee’d and 2014 Hyundai i30 three-door hatchback. It has been a while since both companies were planning to bring out their three-door hatchbacks.
Both Kia Ceed and 2014 Hyundai i30 were launched this year in their station wagon and five-door hatchbacks variants following which Hyundai decided to give a little more to its followers. Kia followed the trajectory and now both are all set for the Paris Motor Show, 2012. The five-door variants of the respective cars are apparently called as Hyundai Elantra GT and Kia Forte in US. Both of these cars might have a lot of components similar beneath their hoods but the design of both are poles apart.
As per the critics, Kia Forte scores better over Elantra GT owing to the signature tiger-nose rear design. Its design is much sharper and sleek than that of Hyundai. But ergonomically, both of these are on the same platform. Kia Cee’d apparently comes in four different variant of engine out of which two run on gasoline and two run on diesel. These variant of engine are available with the five-door variant of Kia Cee’d.
2014 Hyundai i30 and on the contrary is competing with its own sibling Hyundai Veloster. The best part about i30 is that the powertrain is much better and smooth than that of Veloster. Both of these cars as of now do not have any routes to US but probably by next year, the road to US will be open for these two three-door hatchbacks.
