Kia will launch its first product in India the Seltos SUV on 22 nd August 2019. Once launched, the Seltos will go up against the likes of Hyundai Creta, the Mahindra XUV500, the Renault Captur, Nissan Kicks and the recently launched MG Hector.
Coming to specs, the Seltos will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-liter petrol engine mated to a 6- speed manual or CVT gearbox and 1.5-litre diesel mated to a 6-speed manual or torque converter. Another 1.4-liter turbo petrol with direct injection mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox might be offered.
Higher spec Seltos variants will have 10.25 touchscreen infotainment system, 360 degree view camera, head-up display, sunroof, multi-coloured ambient lighting and Bose audio system.
