South Korean car maker Kia has unveiled the electric version of its Niro crossover in its production guise. The car will be powered by a 61kWh battery with a top range of 380KM.
Another version of the car will have a range of 241km. But battery capacity of this version is not yet known. It is highly likely that powertrain of the new Niro has been sourced from Hyundai and in fact, could be the same powertrain used by Hyundai Ioniq.
Design wise, the Niro EV is same as is fossil fuel version cousin except the new grille.
