Today Lamborghini launched Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster in Mumbai, one of the most exciting open top luxury sports cars in the series. Roadster had touched a new benchmark in when it was initially launched in 2011 for other global markets.
1,300 units are successfully sold all over the world and numbers are still counting. Basically it is the convertible version of perfectly balanced Lamborghini Aventador which assimilates sophistication with sports thrill.
Roadster sports brand new lines flowing from open top to engine hoods at the rear, which inclines towards ultimate research that had went into the process to design such a product. It excites all the five senses of a human being and soothes visually as well as aesthetically.
The two-piece roof of LP 700-4 is made of carbon fiber which had been processed under RTM and Forged Composite technologies to clock the weigh ticker at less than 6 kgs.
Sabbia Nefertem leather highlights major of interiors while handmade upholstery from Sant’ Agata Bolognese covers the remaining portion. Finally, new aluminum forged Dione rims of 20” / 21” are also seen giving aggressive looks with a lesser weight by 10 kg (as compared to previous set of rims).
The V12 power plant of 6.5 liter boasts it to a maximum speed of 350 kmph (217 mph) by using 700 HP @ 8250 RPM with 690 Nm of Torque @ 5500 RPM. Whole engine bay is mated with 7 speed ISR gearbox which provides traction on all wheels through Haldex IVth generation transmission system. Push rod suspensions under the wheels add more comfort to beefed-up carbon fiber monocoque frame on fire raging tracks.

It is learnt that Lamborghini sales of India had grown by 21% as compared to last year, along with 30% rise in global figures by unleashed 2,083 powerful cars. Mr. Pavan Shetty, Head of Operations, Lamborghini India said that the luxury car market of India is now demanding design, quality and pleasure which Aventador Roadster is delivering to the core.
Last words which everyone is waiting for, it wears a price tag of 4,77,50,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi) and will go on sale from mid 2103 across the nationwide dealerships.
