Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has finally launched the Urus SUV in India for Rs.3 crore. This is the first SUV made by Lamborghini after the LM002 and thus it makes Lamborghini the first supercar maker to manufacture an SUV.
In India, the Urus would join the Huracan and the Aventador in Lamborghini’s lineup. The Urus is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine outputting a massive 650 HP. This engine, is in fact, is also used on the Bentley Bentayga SUV.
With this engine underneath, the Urus can go from zero to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. The car comes with an intelligent four-wheel-drive system with vectored torque which transfers power from the engine to the wheels and keeps it under control on hard to drive off road surfaces. The car also has a dedicated race mode.
