JLR has just launched its new 2013 Range Rover in India and the soon British automaker is going to get the facelifted version of the Freelander 2 in the country. The new Freelander 2 will be getting upgrades in terms of convenience, comfort and drive quality. The Freelander 2 looks more plush and luxurious with the sharper exterior design, vibrant colours, new derivatives and upgraded equipment. The engine is still the same though.
The exterior design has been revamped for more integrated appearance that includes the contemporary front and rear lights using the latest LED technology. The XS has also received enhanced body pack complete with the new 17 inch alloys.
The drive terrain response dial has been replaced by the switches and shutter boasts of additional storage space. A new dynamic derivative has been made available, which comes in three exciting colours, viz. Ivory, Pimento and Ebony each of which is complete with stitching that matches the style and co-ordinated door casing that. In all, Freelander 2 has received lots of interior and exterior touches, but under the hood it is still the same mean machine.
