In order to celebrate its 65th anniversary, auto legend Land Rover has launched a special edition of its Defender SUV named Defender LXV (LXV is 65 in Roman numeral). The Defender LXV is powered by a 2.2 liter diesel engine which produces a peak output of 120bhp and a peak torque of 360Nm. The engine has been mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Other features of the Defender LXV are as follows:
- 16-inch sawtooth alloy wheels
- Full leather seats on the inside. Also includes front headrests
- Corris grey roof as well as headlight surrounds
The Defender LVX will be available in Santorini Black or Fuji White color options. A union jack can also be added to the back, but that is completely optional.
Since its first car on April 30th, 1948, Land Rover has come a long way and today it is a legend in the auto world. Rest assured in the times to come, the company will keep serving its clientele with equally exciting products as it has done so far.
