Lexus Motors have entered India with the launch of three models. The luxury sedan offering ES Hybrid has been priced at Rs.55.27 Lakh whereas the RX line-up will come with two models – the RX Luxury at Rs.1.07 Crore and the RX F-Sport at Rs.1.09 Crore.
The ES Hybrid Luxury Sedan comes with a 2.5-liter VVT-i engine with an electric drive motor. The front wheel drive includes ECVT-i Transmission along with EPS, ABS, EBD and Brake Assist.
The RX 450h comes with a 3.5-litre V6, VVT-i engine with SULEV-2 emission rating and delivers 308 horsepower. Being an SUV, the car weighs 4,740 lbs with 65.1 litre fuel tank. Other features include ECVT Transmission, EPS Steering System as well as ECB, ABS and EBD for Braking. The car is an all wheel drive running on 20-inch split-five-spoke alloy wheels.
These cars will be available in dealerships located in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore. Additionally, after sales service facilities will also be available in Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi.
