To counter the effect the Hyundai Eon has got on the car buying public, Maruti Suzuki India Limited have launched their best weapon and that is price cuts on their popular model, the Alto along with a new edition. The new edition is named as Maruti Alto Xplore and this is a limited edition at that. Maruti says that the new Xplore edition has got about 10 new features to its credits.
The regular Alto F8 Lxi as also the K10 Vxi would be available with the Xplore moniker as also 6 different colors. Not only this, the Alto Xplore would also come with new body graphics, leather seats, roof spoiler, bumpers, door handles and mirrors in body color plus a Bluetooth, USB enabled music system. Maruti Suzuki’s General Chief Manager, Shashank Srivastava said that Indians expect something new from Maruti Suzuki everytime and especially during the festive season and hence the launch of Alto Xplore is for those Indians looking to buy a Maruti during the festive season.
Currently the Alto is offered in a wide category of models. This includes the likes of the regular 800 cc Alto F8, Alto K10 and also Alto CNG. With the K10 engine, the Alto manages to eke out 20.2 kmpl. The price of the Maruti Alto Xplore starts from Rs 2.32 lakhs. This car is immediately available for sale.
